Among the activities held during (and due to) the COVID-19 Pandemic, on the 14th of April 2020, Al-Hussein Bin Talal University held a discussion session via the Internet to talk about the issue of e-wallets in Jordan in general and Zain Cash services in particular, as the university hosted the general manager of the distinguished company for electronic payment services through the mobile phone “Zain Cash” Sultan Kashura to speak with Students in the specialty of e-commerce, in coordination with Dr. Muder Almiani, as part of the university’s activities aimed at communicating with the communications and information technology sector. During the lecture, several topics were presented in the field of the mobile payment system, as it provided a full explanation of electronic wallet applications and how to use them, and on the National Mobile Payment System (JoMoPay) launched by the Central Bank during COVID-19.
As COVID-19 continues spreading in many countries of the world, how to keep learning in disruption has become a major challenge to the global education community, and eLearning is one of the ways to keep learning alive. In this regard, UNIMED has created an online space aimed at collecting stories on how to cope with the present emergency.
