During summer 2020, 36 students were selected by the five Jordanian partner universities to participate in the first JOVITAL National Virtual Collaborative Learning (VCL) pilot course found place from 25.07.2020 – 05.09.2020 virtually on JOVITAL Learning Space.
The students were organized in 6 interdisciplinary teams an worked intensively in virtual teams to practice discussing and exchanging knowledge with peers from different universities and locations. The learning objectives of the pilot course were met with very high quality results, and the groups presentations demonstrated participants advanced capabilities for critical thinking, problem solving, communication skills, and collaborative work.
All students who actively participated in the teamwork and group results development got a certificate from the project consortium, acknowledging their efforts and reflecting the workload and activities performed in the course.

Also, the best students were named JOVITAL Ambassadors where they will get information on how to stay engaged in the project and benefit from its future activities including training as E-Tutors, attending international VCLs, and possibilities to spread the word in their universities.
