On 12-13. December 2019 UNIMED oragnised its annual General Assembly at the Link Campus University in Rome – Italy.
The Mediterranean Universities Union (UNIMED) is an association of 127 Universities coming from 23 countries of both shores of Mediterranean (data updated to December 2019). As a consortium member, it is responsible for the dissemination and exploitation of the results and activities of JOVITAL project.
On the second day, the UNIMED SubNetwork on eLearning and Open Education organised the workshop “WS1–Fostering the creation of Open Education Ecosystems in the Mediterranean”, where successful eLearning and Open Education strategies and projects were discussed.
Wissam Tawileh from the Technische Universität Dresden presented JOVITAL as an example of Virtual Exchange platform between European and international Higher Educational Institutions with the focus on north-south academic cooperation.
