JOVITAL was presented on 25.10.2018 at the General Assembly of the consortium partner UNIMED.
The Mediterranean Universities Network (UNIMED) encompasses over 100 Higher Educational Institutions from 23 North and South mediterranean countries. It established a sub-network on eLearning and Open Education with the aim to “contribute to ongoing online learning developments, and to support its members in their efforts to further enhance and promote innovation in teaching and learning.”
The first workshop of this sub-network at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice presented a showcase of selected projects and initiatives focusing on enhance teaching and learning practices. JOVITAL demonstrated its innovative approach to modernize higher education in Jordanian universities using connected Virtual Collaborative Learning. This participation enabled us to disseminate the project and its objectives to a wide range of interested Higher Educational Institution in the Arab region and establish synergies with relevant Erasmus+ projects and potential partners for virtual exchange activities.
